Thatafy is a free song-battle game. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Thatafy

You must be at least 13 years old to use Thatafy. If you're under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is comfortable with you using it.

Your votes and stats

When you battle songs, your picks may be used — in aggregate or anonymised form — to power features like community voting reveals, the Hall of Fame, public leaderboards, and general analytics about how people play. This never involves publishing anything that identifies you personally beyond a username you choose (or one we generate for you), unless you've explicitly opted in to appear on the public leaderboard.

Music content

Song previews, artwork, and metadata shown in Thatafy come directly from Apple Music/the iTunes Search API and are Apple's content, served under Apple's own terms. Previews are streamed directly from Apple for listening within the app only — they're not downloaded, redistributed, or available for use outside Thatafy. Full songs are available on Apple Music via the links we provide.

Challenge links and sharing

Creating a challenge link or a shareable picks image is your own choice to share your results with someone else. Don't use these features to send spam or unwanted content to people who haven't asked for it.

No warranty

Thatafy is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be available, error-free, or uninterrupted — this is a small, independently-run project and things can and do break. We aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms or the app itself from time to time. Continuing to use Thatafy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
