How to Play
A quick tour of everything Thatafy can do.
Battles
Search an artist (or open a playlist) and you'll get a bracket of songs. Each round shows you two — tap the one you prefer. Winners keep facing fresh challengers until one song is crowned champion. Made a mis-tap? Undo is there on the final battle.
Playlists
Curated song collections — soundtracks, themed mixes, this week's picks — that battle exactly like an artist's catalogue. Find them on the home screen's "This week's playlists" shelf.
Daily Battle
One shared 6-song bracket a day, Monday to Saturday. Sunday is the Final — that week's six daily winners face off for the week's champion. Play every day to build a streak; miss a single day and a freeze covers you automatically, no streak lost — up to 7 held at once.
Badges & stats
Every completed battle counts toward your stats — rounds played, artists explored, deep-cuts runs, and more — which unlock badges as you go. Some badges are secret until you find them. Every badge you unlock also earns you a streak freeze, on top of the one every 7-day streak already gives you. Check your progress any time from the account menu's "My Progress and Stats" link.
Challenge a friend
After a battle, share your result as a challenge link — whoever opens it plays the exact same songs in the exact same order, then sees how many picks you agreed on. Playing someone else's challenge still counts toward your own stats and badges, but it can't bump your Daily Battle streak (that's reserved for actually playing that day's real Daily Battle).
Leaderboard
Once you have a username (see "Signing in" below) your longest streak and badge count appear on the public leaderboard by default. Prefer to keep that private? Turn it off any time from the account menu.
Signing in
No email or password — tap Login/Sign-up (top right) to get a 16-character sign-in code for this device. Save it somewhere safe, then enter that same code on any other device or browser to bring your stats, streak, and username with you.
